The Story So Far...

UK rockers SACRED HEART were formed in the mid-90's (by Paul Stead & original drummer Mark Beeby) and were joined shortly after by Mark Stephenson (guitars) & bassist Paul Hamilton.

With no real goals outside of the recording studio (though building up quite a following on the local scene - due to a number of e.p's) the band called it a day in ‘99 but remained close friends.

Paul & Mark (Stephenson) started jamming again in the summer of 2003 and decided to get SACRED HEART up and rockin’ again. Claudio Cafolla joined on drums & an old friend Leigh Westbrook played bass live in support of "A New Dawn" & "Lay It On The Line". Jamie Watkins replaced Leigh for a short-while but soon after left due to university.

Darren Jhuboo replaced Jamie on a full time basis and "Shake" was recorded - live shows & festival dates ensued but due to other commitments left the band in summer 2007 to be replaced by Nathan J. Lark - who has also contributed with his song-writing talents.

Claudio took a break from music, Alex Burke taking his place for "Darkness Falls" (7th December 2009).

2010/11: SACRED HEART have a new permanent line-up - joining Paul & Mark are: Darren (returning on bass) & on the drums Dave Thurlby. Look out for live dates and more releases. New material is currectly being recorded...
